The Olive Garden in Pooler was really bad. The service was good but the food has gone down hill. First the were really skimpy on sauce and we always had to ask for more.(After all who likes dry pasta?) Tonight I had the never ending pasta bowl. I was going to share some with my 18 month granddaughter. The pasta was rigatoni with traditional meat sauce with Italian sausage. The meat sauce had big chunks of meat in it...almost like chili meat if you were eating burger in chili. It had no flavor to it.. very bland. Of course, the salad and bread sticks were good. That was what I filled up on. I had a cappuccino to go. It was very good but for $4.00 I wish the cup was filled to the top of the cup as advertised in the picture. Very dissatisfied customer. I think the one in Savannah might be a little better. Olive Garden use to be one of my favorite restaurants but there are too many awesome restaurants to choice from to settle for bad food.
The service was great thanks to Ms. Cynthia. This was the best service I ever received. She was very helpful and patient. She came over to take our order after seeing us sitting for awhile when no one else came to take our order. She was great!! Olive Garden in Pooler Georgia.
I was so excited about my visit today and IT WAS SO DISAPPOINTING! Our waitress was AWESOME and management did try and fix the debauchery by giving most of our party gift cards who after a 1 hour wait STILL DIDN'T EAT! That was THE ONLY GREAT PART ABOUT OUR DINING EXPERIENCE! I definitely WILL NOT BE RETURNING!
Food was great. Although the parking lot was packed on a Sunday evening, we were immediately seated. It wasn't super crowded inside. Only complaint was that the waitress made three trips to the table directly across from us before even greeting us and taking our drink order. That was a pattern throughout the evening. Other than that it was quite pleasant.
The waiter we had was less than efficient. Very slow and forgetful. Don't know if he was pre-occupied or what. One of our party talked to the manager about the poor service. Other than that, the food was good. Maybe our experience would have been better with a different server.
