I decided to try this place and I dropped off 3 dress shirts for work. I asked for heavy starch. I was told it would take three days. I thought that was a little long but oh well, I had a couple already pressed and could wait. When the shirts came back, there was very little if any starch, and the sleeves were not even ironed or pressed. I asked about the starch, and she told me that is heavy starch, and it builds up over time. I asked if they bother cleaning the shirts because starch washes out, and she said their starch does not wash out. I could do a better job starching and ironing the shirts myself. As far as the sleeves go, there was no creases in the sleeves and they had not even been touched, so she said she would send them back to be done again, but that I wouldn't get them back until next week. I will not be returning back to this place again. What a joke.
When dropping off items to be cleaned, I was told my items "might" have to be sent out to be cleaned but someone would call me to let me know. Never received a call so I started calling and I was told the manager would call me back when she got in but she never returned my call. I finally spoke to her this morning and I'm being told that after 2 weeks my items have just now been sent off and won't be back in Pooler until Monday, February 6th. 17 DAYS! She didn't seem to think this procedure sounded ridiculous. Asinine business practices and they're just plain expensive. I'll be going elsewhere in the future.
This place is a joke. I went to go get my tuxedo dry cleaned and the woman behind the counter told me it would be a week maybe longer. I asked why it would take so long and she told me because that's the way it is... She was nasty and she smelled like an ash tray. Most unprofessional place I have ever been to. I found Sandys dry cleaners and she had my tuxedo done in two days.
Good turn around time and fair prices. Never had a problem with their services.
