Asked for a meatball sub (which was on the sandwich menu), both employees said they had never even seen any meatballs there.
the Deli has great food but terrible service, some of the worst out of every Publix iv been to. Terribly slow when you go in person, and they never bother to help you preferring to just stand around. Online orders have NEVER been made on time and always have been wrong. If your going to make it late, make it right at least.... Go if you have an extra hour to kill waiting at the deli for a sandwich.
I am consistently blown away by the service I receive at this location. Everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful. You just don't get that anywhere else. I will not shop at any other grocery store in the area because this Publix has just won me over. When it rains, their sales associates are there helping the customers with their groceries so they don't have to get wet. The quality of the produce and meat is always wonderful. The shelves are always stocked and very neat. 5 stars all around for this location.
Publix, please get it together, the deli is costing you customers. If customers go to another store for deli items they'll buy other items while they're in a "new" store. Time to get the deli on the same page with the rest of the store.
Publix is customer oriented for the most part & customer service is good...I guess deli employees are contracted out because publix seems to have forgotten about the deli entirely. Is the deli a separate part of the store or are they part of the Publix team?
Almost each and every visit at the deli ends up in a long wait while you watch employees standing around not doing anything. I understand call in orders (of any kind) take priority over customers waiting at the counter in the store. This has happened numerous times. I have walked away, my husband has walked away & we have seen other customers on more than one occasion walk away. We have also witnessed arguments between customers & employees because they cannot get deli service.
Publix, take notice!
Currently this is my local Publix and they are the best grocery store I've ever been to based on service alone. They have great produce, meat, and anything else you need. I even choose to buy my household and personal items here because I'd rather come to a store where I receive the best service. Everyone is so friendly and helpful!! It's a plus that they are right down the street from me. I'm going to miss this store when I move.
So I said, don't worry about it I'll go with the turkey sandwich. The lady seemed annoyed and said she would have to cut more meat and it was going to be a while. I told her not to worry about it and I got the fried chicken. The fried chicken was awful and so was the customer service.
Deli service needs serious attention! Please let deli employees know that it's ok to slice meat or cheese or make sure that foods are stocked & ready to sell. Please let deli employees know that customers are there for a reason & the reason is not to watch them stand around or wipe down counters while lines form. I guess they've figured out that eventually the customers will get tired of waiting & just leave, mission accomplished, they don't have to work,
