Lowe's Samsung Upgrade to Innovation Rebate up to $300

I had an issue with a tool that was purchased 5 days ago, the tool was faulty directly out of the box. I first attempted to exchange it for the same at the Savannah location, was rudely spoken to and basically told to kick rocks. ("Store policy says it couldn't be returned due to being operated") Called customer service, put the customer service rep on the phone, and still told to kick rocks. I loaded up and drove to the Pooler location with 0% faith in lowes but was pleasantly greeted by Jeanine (CSA) at the returns counter. I explained my situation and she assured me we would get it resolved. She was 100% correct! Shane (manager) came over to take a look, approved the exchange with no questions asked! He personally walked the exchange to the vehicle and assisted with loading and unloading. With everything presently going on in Savannah, these two were a breath of fresh air. If I were to build a model of customer service, this experience would be the one to use. They've restored my faith in Lowes, thanks again!

4. The following day...had an appointment set up to have the new oven and refrigerator delivered between 5 and 7 pm (per their so called management team) THEY NEVER SHOWED UP OR CALLED. I called 3 times to inquire about delivery time between 5 and 7 and was told 3 times by an assistant manager. Said she would call me back in a few minutes. She never called back I called her back every 30 mins. Truck never showed up and we left site at 8 pm (80 mile round trip of wasted time).

Just wish they had a better tool box selection. Home Depot has that market down.

Most of the employees are extremely nice and helpful. Prices are what you would expect on most things...

2. Our gas range was missing because someone sold the one we paid for and never ordered a new one. Or that was the excuse that was given.

8. New wine cooler tracking number showed it to be in Pooler 3 before hurricane Irene just 3 miles down the road at FedEx. Lowes never took delivery said it was rescheduled.

1. They didn't have our wine cooler because it was damaged during shipping. They sent it back and never ordered a new one. They had to reorder it 3 times because their "incompetent employees don't know what they are doing". Quote from an assistant manager that finally had to do it.

9-25-2017 The rest of the story...we walked in Lowes on 05-29-17 for their Memorial Day sale. We bought a 6 piece Samsung kitchen appliance set and an additional warranty package for $$$$ amount. We told them we were 3 months out from completion on our new house. We were told "not a problem" and it wasn't...until we called to have it delivered!

You can take that $300.00 rebate card (if you can find it) and SHOVE IT all the way up to your throat!

9. Wine cooler was delivered to Lowes 3 days after the hurricane...another 6 day wait. 1 original order, 3 reorders about 20 phone calls and almost 4 months but I finally got it.

Knew what I wanted however things where moved because of Christmas blow over. Was helped quickly after using help button. I needed help in 2 depts and both associates were very helpful.

3. They delivered our microwave, dishwasher, range hood and refrigerator. The refrigerator had a 12 inch long scratch on the left side on black stainless steel door. So had to make them take that back. But they were perfectly willing to leave it as if I wouldn't notice.

I am beyond disgusted with Lowes of Pooler. I will never step foot in a Lowe's ever again!

11. To this day I have not received one phone call from the Pooler manager nor their Corporate office. Probably a great idea if you guys don't call me at this point.

Beautiful large new store. Easy in and out parking with traffic signals. Found everything I wanted.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Since I am still waiting on my last appliance to come in I will hold off on a full review. But as of right now BUYER BEWARE!!! Never in my life have I experienced such incompetent service before. Management here is WORTHLESS...more to come.

7. I called 1-800-44-LOWES and demanded to talk to a Vice President and was refused to be forwarded to anyone other then the service rep. All the service rep did was make pathetic excuses and apologize and "she was sure everything would work out". I shop at Home Depot now, so yes it worked out.

10. Bought and paid for appliances on 5-29-17 and was told I would receive a $300.00 rebate.

I can assure you the experience was much more horrible then this watered down version of what happened. The multiple phone calls, the constant stream of pathetic excuses, the complete incompetence of the company as a whole, the wasted time of driving and waiting on this to end was an incredible nightmare.

6. While waiting for this delivery I called and insisted to talk the manger "Allen". I was told "he was too busy to talk to me"...more like too embarrassed to talk to me. I can't tell you how USELESS he proved to be.
