If I could give no stars I absolutely would. Dr Wilson is terrible. Do not see her, I repeat, do NOT see her. I went in for stomach pain and the medication she gave me was making it worse. I posted on FB regarding my issues and had so many people mention gallbladder. To be safe, I called and asked if I could request an ultrasound for my gallbladder based on hearing it mentioned so many times (my insurance would cover it so I wasn't worried about making this request, plus I feel miserable, might as well rule one thing out!) When I called today to find out where the request stood, I also asked about the medication as it was making my symptoms much worse. The nurse advised the following: "Dr. Wilson stated she CLEARLY said the medication would take 2 weeks to work. She also stated if you'd rather get your medical advice from FB, you can find another doctor." Two things here, first of all, I knew the medication would take two weeks, but she NEVER MENTIONED it would make everything worse. Secondly, I wasn't getting medical advice from FB, I simply posted about my pains and how long I'd had them and a lot of people mentioned their gallbladder and having issues getting it diagnosed correctly. So I simply thought, well shoot, let's just do an ultra sound and rule that out so I don't have to worry about it, no big deal. Well apparently questioning Dr. Wilson is a huge no no. Absolutely rude, brought me to a level of anger I don't let myself get to, but this is my health, and if I feel like ruling something out is the best option for me, then I'm going to ask to do so.
Just wanted to say I was pleased with this office up until Friday 8-11-16. I called to request a refill on my prescriptions I was told Friday by one of the nurses that they would try to rush these through before the weekend. I never received a call back from anyone like I was told so I called back about 2 hours later. They then told me it hadn't been signed off yet by the Doctor (Sliker). So I went up to the office an hour later to ask if they had gotten him to sign off yet the front office clerk then told me it would be 2 to 3 days. So it's now Monday I called them again this morning and was told by the practice manager that I would get a call from the nurse at 9 am in the morning. I was not called until 4:45 pm and got a message to call Tosha back. So I called back and was told by someone else that I couldn't get my prescription unless I saw the Doctor again. I am a good customer who is paid up on all my doctors bills and am a manager myself for a warehouse in Savannah and rely on my prescriptions to be able to perform my job. I am not a pill head who is taking pills and selling them or abusing them in anyway but I feel like I'm being treated that way when I call or ask about my prescriptions. I am very upset with how I've been told numerous lies and not just told up front the truth. Instead I received 3 different stories of why my prescription had not been signed off on. You want your payments up front and your patients on time but when the customer asks for something you make them pay to see you again. Very sad that it's come to this but I hope that you read this and learn something from it to help make your practice better as for me you've lost me as a patient! May not mean nothing to you but I've made my point!
