First time going as was far from impressed. After my youngest daughter had already gone down the slides multiple times, I was told she needed a life jacket. I asked a lifeguard where I could get one. He grabbed one for me and said here. It was ripped and missing the flotation. I took the life jacket and turned it in up front. The lady I spoke with told me I could just go get one that was laying on the ground. The next 2 I picked up where also ripped open. Not impressed. I asked for a manager to speak with but never got to speak with the manager. Another life guard was instructed to go get new life jackets out of storage. While on the lazy river I never once saw a life guard on the backside between the river and the slides. Serious need to have someone there to watch for issues. The life guards in the pool at the slides never moved. Multiple times people would go under and the life guards offered no assistance. Not sure who inspects water parks for safety rela
Roughly 2 months have passed since visiting, and no explanation from the owner as to why the issues listed above happened.
This park is a waste of time and money. it's nothing but a school play ground with water.. ya come out better getting gas and going to summer waves at Jekyll island. That space could have been used for a nice restaurant or better yet cheese cake factory.. Was my first and last time going..
No frills and somewhat small water park. No wave pool and a pretty small pool area. On the positive side the price to enter is reasonable, the place seemed clean and well maintained and there are 4 decent but small water slides and a decent lazy river. There is also a small kids water play area that my son enjoyed. Food and drinks are priced about what you'd expect for this type of place. Not the cheapest but not too outrageous. If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive place to take the kids this is not a bad spot.
ted issues but this park needs to be inspected.
I have been each summer since they opened. In the past summers we went a few times. I don't expect to return unless I hear of changes. The price for the amount of things to do just isn't comparable to other parks I can go to in the area. The shorter drive used to appeal to me, but now I think I will just drive that extra. The bathrooms were totally unacceptable and I tend to have grace with bathrooms. I know they can get dirty quickly, but this didn't appear to be touched at all during the day. Disappointed because I have really wanted this to be somewhere I would visit frequently with my boys.
Staff wouldn't let us bring snacks or drinks for our 1 year old. The place seemed nasty. No soap in the men's room so no one was washing their hands before getting in the water. The water needed to be cleaned from dirt and spiders that were dead. Seems line they would do it before opening. There weren't many people there so that may be a sign. I just thought we were early since we got there when they opened. All the other water parks I've been to have been full from open til close. Definitely not the type of place I expected. Especially for the prices.
